Axles-listed on our shopping site are the most common axles used throughout the caster and wheel industry. Axle length is measured underneath the head of the bolt. Axles are either plain or zerked. A zerked axle has a recessed grease fitting pressed into the unthreaded head of the bolt and is a simple way to lubricate the bearing in the wheel itself.
